Can't figure out why the kast gloves are waterproof but both hands got cold when the wind blew hard.

I'm fairly sure that the Kast gloves get the waterproofing by use of "OutDry" fabric. Other companies use this for products too, I have waterproof gloves from Mountain Hardwear that use the same fabric.
