Sleek and sparse is the goal here, I was gonna do a jock o Dee but just dyed a rooster cape Orange and the little feathers were just screaming as a body veil so I ran with it! I can't wait to fish this one! It's a partridge cs10/1 (I think) that I straightened to eye on for length.

I promise I'll start taking better photos for you guys soon!

Looks good from here Josh,

I think you know I keep at least a dozen of that pattern in my trout box and it's not because I enjoy tedious tying. Perhaps you'll make up a few with BEP or dyed goose hackles too just in case. I use both of those gray feathers on what I fish although I do pretty well with similar flies having black hackle. Maybe it's just me or the fact that I chose to use the pattern over others but it seldom fails. Your's looks much sleeker than what I throw together and I'm thinking you'll catch with that one.

Very nice,

Ard
