Aaron,

Those who have not been in your shop or your day on the river Saturday's have no idea what you mean by forest of graphite! :)

Thumbs up to Marlo and gang

It was an enjoyable day yesterday at Howard Miller thanks to the hard work of Marlo and friends. The weather cooperated for the most part and even managed to lend a hand with a little wind from the rear for those casters posting scores late in the competition. It was good to meet up with old friends and finally meet up with some of the site regulars.

Thanks Marlow.

It was great meeting some folks I only knew from online. Finally I have faces for the names.

Nice way end to the season. Telling a few lies and having some laughs with like minded people.

Grass casting for the first time was fun. It isn't as easy as some of those guys make it look. Next year I will know what to expect.

Even thought the little guy and myself could only stay a few hours we had a good time. I had to listen to him mumble 'Dadda rod' the whole way home. Now to find someone to make a 6' switch rod :)
