Jetstream with sinktip
Had an opportunity today to try the line with a sinktip!!
Tried it with a 10 foot & 7 foot braided leader joined to the end of the line with a loop( nothing cut back!) as I dont know how!!.
I used LSR 8 leaders with 4 feet of nylon and a large Waddington fly,the sink rate of the tips was 10seconds/metre.
The line turned over nicely with both these set ups and when I got to grips with it as mentioned in a previous thread you have got to keep hold of the rod as it seems to want to keep going!!,
A pretty good feeling as a lot of my previous attempts would land in a heap,or be rather splashy on presentation.
