My new fishing platform. Fished the sled this past weekend with the two handed rods and worked great. No more cold wadding.

Wow, simply stunning, like nothing I've ever seen on the water! I've always loved boats of all types but especially the classic wood drift boats. Never thought I'd see such a gorgeous wooden sled though. This is an absolutely beautiful machine. I'd be proud to ride in her anyday. Your craftsmanship is top notch. Stand high when driving that gem, you should be very proud of your efforts!

pushes it nice. To fast wide open but enough power to get in and out of trouble.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It was a lot of work about 30 hours a week for 10 months. I'm still trying to recuperate.

Newbie boater here - what's the winch in the front for? Does that chain it's holding slow the drift or something?

The chain anchor doesn't hang up on on bottom as often. Especially in log infested rivers.
