have a shot at purchasing a salmon reel with two spare spools,actually ;it's a pretty much done deal, any body have exp. with these, looks like a big Daiwa,although in the pics the clicker wheel looks pressed on the spools,but i'm assuming they ARE rugged no matter,,????:confused:

Which model were you looking at ,they made lots of reels over the years ,they should now bmaking reels for Cortland as Masterline in the UK bought there machinery ,and Masterline is owned by Cortland .
There are some fine reels going at bargain prices at the moment ,Norris and sportsmail are the dealers that spring to mind .

not sure the model but with two extra spools @ 55 sterling plus freight i don't feel as though im getting bit,have pics the gent e-mailed me,if you're in u.k. maybe you could inform me on another salmon reel,the shakespeare ,,,beulite ,i'm guessing,any about??believe they are dis.,,,actually looking for a sharpe's ;DON,well that should keep you busy for a while,,:D
