i haven't had much time over the last 12 months to tie "fancy " sh/salmo flies . i got into making my own brushes for smallies over the summer and tied only for immediate and practical purposes . winter hit us early and my river is BLOWN so i bellied up on the outside work last week and got to it . i'm a total hack who is always amazed and inspired by all the crack tiers here . here's a decent effort inspired by mike (flytie'09 ) . i used some old belding corticelli silk for the tag . thanks everyone .
