I'm sure you all remember the green Dr. Matt tied a while back, I still haven't been able to get it out of my mind so here is my interpretation, clearly I didn't follow any recipe. I know some will say the tail/wing height don't fit the iron but this is completely tied to fish, I like these irons and wanted a big full wing so it is made as I intended.

Double tail, red and natural. Wing is full tippets, then dyed Amherst, a main wing of peacock, dyed yellow and green turkey, then GP tail, mallard roof.

Hope you guys enjoy it, I sure had fun tying this one today

That could have used some flourescent green ostrich, don't you think Matt?

River is still just a shade off, but just!

Yeah Matt, I love that green! Real confidence color for me. I was in gold hill today and the river looked plenty good enough to fish so I assume up by me it's beautiful!

I just cant get over the fact that I can see the grass/gravel in your pictures. You made it sound like this was actually your friends fly when you posted it on IG. I correct my statement saying that you killed it!
