Wondering if anyone has experience yet with the Ian Gordon lines ? I've been following the Scandanavian thread and find myself interested in a full sinking line but don't know if I want to go with a head.

With the type 4 IG sink, how much of a challenge is it to get the line out of the water ? Is it simply a roll before you start the cast ?

My other question is regarding depth attained with a line like this. Is it comparable to a type 3 or 4 sinktip or does the fact that the whole belly sinks get you deeper?

Thanks in advance

I have probably used them more than most, as Ian gave me a prototyp to try.

2 kinds Medium and fast sink. Medium 2 "/ sec Fast 4"/sec

To get to the surface slowly lift your rod, the line will be pulled to the surface now just roll it out and begin the speycast.....simple

Yes they get down better than a tip. The fast is a great fish catching line.I consider a type 3 or 4 tip more like the intermediate.
