After reviewing some of your work, and this fly, One tip i would offer is to complete your head a bit sooner on the hook. it will give the fly a more elegant finish as well as allowing for different knot configurations as this type of wet fly can love a riffle hitch at times. Finishing right up to the eye makes for a slightly blockier and less elegant head in my opinion.
