Okay, So I go to Ebay this morning to research current market prices to prepare to SELL some rods! I swear, I got my digital camera charging to take pictures and everything. Well there she was, a brand new Thompson Specialist. Ridiculous price. Downright silly. How could I not pick it up with my birthday just a week away? Now I just need to figure out how to get my hands on some full sinking lines that match this rod. Mmmmm... Full sinking lines... Copper tubes... Any tips welcome.

P.S. There might still be a Skagit left for an equally goofy price.

PPS If anybody needs a 15'2" Daiwa Alltmor S 10/11, I won't be needing it anymore

I saw that Thompson, saw a handful of other CND's at rock bottom prices also. Always had a soft spot for that Custom, forced myself to resist. Did end up with a much needed new pair-o-waders though.

alltmor!!!

:D they rock!,,,never thought i'd `nymph' per se,but,,for some strange reason, that alltmor 16 works in that capacity `for me',it feels much lighter than my other 16's and the modulai,,coupled with the length,,poor thing,i won't be using it now for months :(
