I do more tubes than shanks but may have to try this out.

I like it

This past winter I fished unweighted (no brass dumbells) squidros and intruders. They work well and I lost few of them. You might do a few a tad less flashy, but I'd bet that will hunt.

DIRTY!!!! looks like it will be a killer Nate, plus it has beads so you won't be laughed at like I am on the rogue! Haha I think the only thing I would do differently is a turn or two of marabou in front of the flash to tone it down a bit but that's just a personal preference thing.

Nice, but

Use stiffer material for the trailing hook, to keep it from fouling.

JD - you're spot on. I tied some trailing hooks using some strong, but limp material last year, and it seemed like I was untangling the damned thing every other cast!

¡No mas!

Catchy looking fly though! Should get some attention!
