hey all, been working on this dressing for the winter season for a while now, been doing them in a few different color schemes, this one is a darker one, i posted up an orange and gold earlier, but switched up the tail for more stability, the swim tank tests are very promising, kinda a cross between a beully, heron and gp, cameron

That's a beauty. What do you look for in the swim tank that influenced your tail design?
Thanks, With just the crest tail the heaviness of the ass end of the hook kept dropping to low, with the buck tail it’s riding more even, if that makes sense, cameron

My complements to the chef. I intend to try its magic powers on some 12-15 pound brown trout running in the GL tribs right now. My thinking is to tie it (with some variations) on hooks sized from 4 to 2. I doubt that the fish will refuse my offerings since personally I like it so much.

That is confidence in my eyes!!
I'd swing that in my favorite runs, holding on tight.
Excellent!!
