Deciding to move some dust collectors. Have really wanted to use these but the occasion has not come about and these deserve to be used.

I have a pre war hardy perfect 4" Salmon reel. I got this some years back and it came in a leather case. The leading on its face was raised looking or not stable in all places. I cleaned it up with a toothbursh and boeshield and it took the loose leading off and left the brown undercoating. So not a collectors reel but the reel has been hardly used and does not have any dents or nicks on it. Had Bill Archuletta make a reel foot for it and he said it was one of the nicest ones he had show up at his shop. Also comes with the original unaltered foot so it can be put back to original condition. Very strong check and has the line guide.
Had harding and sons make me a case for it. Just like their rod cases but fits the reel. Also bought a hardy like bag for it off one of the sights that a member had made.
From what I was told this reel would have been made somewhere from the late 30's to the early 50's but I am not sure. It has the curved logo and fat handle and stamped by Jimmy Smith. $1100 Paypal and shipping A much nicer reel than the new ones.
Leather case is not in great shape but maybe could be salvaged.

Let me know if I can ansewer any questions,
Russell Having pic problems, link should show them.

Bumping this one up. Aside from the leading that came off, this reel is in as good of shape as those that are in the used mint category. I did not clean up the grease so pics show it as smudges in the pics of the innards. Archuletta foot will allow this reel to be used on any reel seat and they run around $250 last time I checked.
$1000 shipped and paypal.
