Hello

I was hoping to get a little help.
Would anyone know the weight (oz) of a Hardy Marquis #1 with backing and running line versus the weight of a #2 with same?

I am trying to look at which may come closest to reels I own.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi Emel

My Marquis Salmon 1 weighs 10 oz. with 30# Micron backing and 30# Elf running line. Since a Salmon 2 weighs almost 2 oz. more than the 1, you would be in the area of 12 oz. for the same backing/running combo on the 2.
