Does anyone know if the English made and the Korean made Hardy Marquis Salmon 1 Fly Reels are the same weight. I'm trying to figure out which one would be the best for me.

Should not be a noticeable difference at all.

I would choose...

The Korean made reel, because it is machined, anodized, has a rim to prevent the leader slipping behind the spool, and has a larger handle. Weight would have little to say about the decision and I doubt there is more than a few grains difference anyway.

I found a English made Hardy Marquis Salmon 1 fly reel in what appears to be in unused condition for 240.00. Its kind of hard to pass up.
