Does anyone have experience using the hardy mach 55 lines? I am contemplating getting the full float 55 and the intermediate 55 for my 9140.

I use a 9wt full floater Mach 55 on my 9140 (giiie). The tip was a bit too light for anything other than tapered mono (I'll use an intermediate polly occasionally) so I cut it back to 0.052" diameter, I think that took off around 3 to 4ft IIRC. I like it, easy caster mostly singles and snake rolls. And I got it on discount from Poppy.

Hardy Mach 55:

I have had several, all floaters.
I use an 8 wt. on my Sage 6126, and a 9 wt. on my Sage 8150. I have acquired a few "spares" for future use.
With these lines I only fish dries or grease line and seldom use a fly larger than 1/0.
