Rotenone, can I ask where you sourced the polar bear? Very nice dying job, going to try it this winter. Thanks, Rob
Hi Rob
I was fortunate enough to buy a full skin a couple of years ago at an antiques auction it cost around 400 dollars, some parts were dirty but I resolved that with some weak bleaching.
With polar bear what I would say is use time and patience instead of high temps in the dye bath, it doesn't appreciate too much heat during dyeing, if you use a strong acid like oxalic crystal even cold dyeing can work or atleast 40c the dye will take I normally just leave it in the warm dye over night off the heat and the following morning it's done.

Cheers JP
