Hi,

My son is back in school and I'm tying again. It's been a while since I've posted anything, so here it is. Thanks for looking and all comments are encouraged.

Oh, tied it on an AJ #5 Steelhead Iron

Thanks,

Tony

Thanks guys. It's nice to be back at the bench.

xgolfman, those Green Butt Hiltons look yummy. One of my favorites for the Summer fish.

Take care,

Tony

Nice and clean, I've never actually tried the smaller SH flies, I much have a go at it.

That looks great! I'm new to the group, just joined on a reccomendation from a friend. I've only been tying a couple of years myself. Again, great looking work.

Green Butt!

Tony...I want to play as well. I tied so many chenille bodied Green Butt Skunks commercially that I hated them for a long time. Although, well tied Green Butt skunks like yours above and variations I find super interesting, fun to tie and good fishing flies.

I am not trying to kill your mojo, just want to keep the thread going and hopefully get others to post some G.B. fly pictures as well.

BB~

And here I thought you were a travelling man :hihi:
Thought you might be heading to the right coast for some salar action :smokin:

Tony , glad you found some success !! I thought for sure that GB Skunk would be the fly to find a player .

BB , cool tube !! The GB Skunk is a safe bet favorite for variations .
I was experimenting a few years back with shanks for cold winter steelhead and came up with this :
