Picked up some coque tail for a supplier on eBay. Ran the hackle full and folded, stuff isn't bad al all.

Standard coque tail, got about 150 pieces for 13$. And these ones are the small ones. 4-6" in length, barbs 1.5"+. Not all of the pieces are usable with large flies but #1-3 are no problem.
