Hi Speycasters.

Can anyone help me with a recipe for a "grassleader" for practicing on the backyard lawn.
Not even a long nylon leader creates a "anchor" effect.

After two years of extreme low water during the annual summertrip to little Stordalselva in Norway I need to practice.

Use 20-25 lb stiff mono - like Maxima - and tie a blood knot every 4" leaving the tags on the knot about 1/2" long. I usually make it 10-12' long. The tags catch in the grass and provide the anchor - it works well - "almost" like water - but not quite.
