Folks:
I've been fiddling around with quite a few scando heads, and a few skagit heads as well, and now am starting to cut them back to suit me and the rods. While some of them are of newer manufacture, and come with charts saying how much a foot of back end weighs, more of them are of made up of old lines, so I haven't any idea what grain weight I have to start with and what I am cutting off.
I definitely need a scale. I don't exactly want to talk to the local crack dealer for help. Surely I'm not the first one of the group to run up against this need. Anybody have a lead on where to get one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?
All the best
John
