I thank you McSquidly Give me some time for my primary search. I know Beulah rods and find them quite advanced.
what is the flex of your rod? Into the handle, mid way or tip flex. I know it is 6 wt but there are various graphites out there

It has a true Spey rod taper that flexes deep with great feel but possesses a tight recovery- very smooth and easy rod to cast. Smoother than a Burkheimer and not as edgy as a SAGE. The Beulah platinum rods are sweet and just a fantastic taper all the way around.
I bought this rod for A run summer Steelies. Now that they are nearly vanished I’ve turned my attention to the trout Spey- and love it!
