Tag/tail/butt - Small flat gold/wood duck(long) and barred wood duck veiling/ black herl.

Body/collar - Lagartun med. gold weave, yellow hackle following orange, medium gold oval counter-rib/Lemon wood-duck.

Wing - Natural GP brest underwing, natural grizzly tips under married slips of peacock, kori and GP tail and BM roofing. Near wing right side.

I borrowed ideas and features from several other patterns into this one tied a couple months ago and it has swam at least a few times. It was roughed-up bit after a scrappy James River smallmouth this Saturday which has me thinking the hackles tied-in by the stem instead of the tips would make a good shrimp/crawfish imitator. In brown and olive. Your thoughts...

Thanks,
Vic.

That is a great fly :whoa::whoa:
And very nicely tied Vic !!
I like where you are going with this pattern. I think the Olive/Brown version would be a great crawfish/shrimp imitator and a killer too !!
