I have a GLoomis 9140-3 for sale for $180 + shipping. I have been laid off since March and now have to pay medical bills.

The 14 foot GLoomis is a 9/10wt. A 2005 rod, bought new (unsold) in 2008 and it is still "new" (never used, never cast, never had a reel on it). It is very light for a 9/10 and a great looking rod. I paid $380 US Dollars (USD) for it, and its just like new (still has the factory sticker on the cork grip).

It would be difficult to find a rod of Gloomis quality and technology anywhere near that price these days.

It has original socks and tubes.

Pics available on request.
Thank you

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure he is selling a GL3 rod similar to the greased line rods now made but not in a 4 pc glx fancy version that is currently on the market.

Loomis GL-3 9/10 Spey Rod

This is a GL3 made in 2003. I bought it new in 2007, it was unsold.

I got a PM from another member; he indicated he had this rod and it would be suitable for winter sink tip work. That is what I bought it for, but never used it.

Hope this helps.
