The Green isn't quite so Highlander and other variations in the wing. I'll need a few more attempts at this one before I'm completely satisfied with it.

Gled Wing variation ( jumbo BEP & Del Sol slips (sun faded???)) with a generic Dee in claret.

Big shout-out to John McLain of Feathersmc for some of the nicer materials that went into these.
Cheers.

Vic , I really like the G.Highlander !!
Your ties are fit for both wall and wallet Vic , but this G.Highlander looks like a fishing fly with tons of fishy qualities .
I would swing that girl until the feathers fell off :smokin:
Love the other flies too , but that Gled Wing has my eye like the G.H !!

Here fishy , fishy , fishy ......

Hey - thanks guys. This is an old post and since I've lost the Amethyst Spey to one pissed off fish and the Gled Wing had the wing a re-worked from the vertical set like you see here to a horizontal set. I should post a picture showing the difference...

Anyhow - thanks again,
Cheers.

Great job! Love the dee and spey stuff. The Green Highlander is very interesting...I think that you may have something there. It just needs to be fleshed out a little bit. Great ties though! :)
