"Trout and Salmon" is their 'big' subscription magazine and they put out a book** called "220 Favourite Flies for Trout, Salmon, Sea-trout and Grayling."

Beautifully done and a total delight to do some page turning. Top is a brief 'where/for what the fly is usually used for, excellent colour plate of the tied fly and then the tie directions.

I'm looking at hours of 'wasted time' thumbing through this Puppy. :hihi:

If you can't find a US distributor I can easily take care of that ..... If the UK shop won't post to the US, you order up and have sent to one of my on line Buddies in the UK, he forwards direct to you direct or via me. Sounds 'complicated,' but it really isn't. Cost of book, in USD is about twenty bucks. Buckets of flies you'll never see on this side of the Pond.**

** Amazing how many of the patterns I've seen on this board and just 'scaled up' for Steelhead fishing. What the heck, a 'trout is a trout,' just a question of 'size.' Woof-Woof.

A delightful read ... but they do have a 'Viewpoint' section, these guys will really go at each other, at times. Many are a hell of a good read even if you have no idea of the 'Politics' that underlay same. ;>)

I've learned (the hard way years back) to leave any American 'Slanguage,' Idioms, etc., out of any of my postings. They either don't 'translate,' or they may could have a TOTALLY different meaning on the other side of the Pond.

Couple of those were really-really embarrassing.
