I have for sale a Claypool Customs 10'1" 5 Weight 3 Piece micro spey. I have a rod bag for it but not tube. Very cool looking rod, super durable, and has a lot of soul. Casts short heads both Scandi and Skagit with extreme ease. Very light use. I will get some pics up tonight. Selling for $190 Shipped/Insured to US. Canada add $15.

Can you tell me if the 5 wt rating is as a switch or single hand? What grain weight lines have you tried with the rod? How would you describe the action Medium or Slow?
Rod is rated for 5 weight switch grains. I personally have thrown 225, 250, 275, Commandos and an SA Scandi Lite 270 grains. All felt nice but I liked a heavier load on this rod. It is definetly a progressive medium rod that throws Scandis And Skagits equally. It’s just not enough rod for the monster trout I fish in AK.
I am heading out of town tonight to swing flies. If y’all are interested, Please feel free to PM me but it will be Sunday before I can answer. I still have a couple hours to make it to the post office.
