I have a pair of breathable waders which I have been using for 1.5 years and they have begun to leak behind one of the knees (that is on the back of my leg). There is a seam at this location, but I cannot locate any signs of abnormal wear in the material or seam in this location. First guess is that this leak must have occurred form normal wear and tear from flexing the knee area.

Alternatively, on multiple occassions I have left my waders in the trunk after fishing and they have frozen rock solid during the night. Does anyone know if freezing ice crystals can compromise Gore-tex material or other comparable waterproof/breathalbe membranes, or potentially compromise the seam sealant or whatever they use to attach the seam tape.
