Afternoon all,

I was wondering if anyone has or has used the above mentioned rod. I am wondering what lines people are using on them as per scandi and skagit. I am looking into compacts in both scandi and skagit.

The info I found on the rod state a scandi in the 375-425 range. But then when I read about the RX6 models in single hand rods people are over lining them by one wt. Any info would be great thanks.

Re: F1266

I've run - 420 Skagit, 400 Wulff, 390 Rage on mine, and all of them work great.
Steve G made up a 412 Scandit/Scandoid for it (if I remember correctly), but I never really got on with that particular line. I gave the SG line to a buddy with the higher modulus version of the same rod, and he loves it.

If you overload the RX6 DH series they taco out pretty easily.

Good luck in your line selection.
