This rod is one of the best built. Truly an outstanding casting machine but I have had it over a year and never fished it. Just not many opportunities to swing a 15 footer around out here. If I move back to the PNW it will be on the list of rods to get again but I have other tackle needs to fill for the salty spey environment we have in Rhode Island.

This rod has been cast a total of 3 practice sessions. Pretty much brand new. It has a composite cork butt cap. This is also a very popular rod in the distance casting circuit. It really will thow a mile...

$750 firm.

IMHO it is actually closer to the NA standards. I like the nextcast 10 on it the best. For a really really light load the 10/11 carron would work but I leaned more towards the 11/12. I remember when a bunch of us first cast it at Aarons Reimers and did not like it has we had the old 9/10 XLT on it and it just would not load well. It does handle the 10/11 old xlt just fine.
