hi guys
have been fishing today with dumbell eyes(the fly that is!) clousers and a floating/slow intermediate guideline shooting head 12 foot leader and 12. 6 8/9 guideline lpxe.
when snake rolling or single speying the fly destroys the foward cast by either anchoring to the water(no matter how quickly I splash and go) or just kinda lobbing itself slowly behind the foward loop.
do i need to use a heavier line weight? is the fly overpowering the line?
i dont want to go heavy on the rods as the Bass in the UK are not like your beasts.
should i just move to the east coast of your country where the fish match the rods?
