My 15' 8/9/10 Claret that Mike was good enough to sell me arrived today.
I had no idea of the quality of the Meiser build and the "as new" condition that Mike kept the rod in.

Now I need to learn the rod to get ready for the Skeena in September.
And do my best to keep it in the same condition as Mike did..

Thank you Mike

Well Jim, now you understand... And are totally done for! 😋 If you learn to like the feel of that rod... may god have pity on your... Bank Account...

I'm not in the least surprised that Mike keeps his rods in perfect condition.

Enjoy the rod! They are a pleasure to fish with!

I've got a few thoughts on preserving the health of my 6pc ,15 foot Miser after 3 years with it. After a weeks casting I like to rub a little paraffin back on the male spigots. And I've gone back to electrical tape over the tip joints I can't reach to check for seating while in the river.
