time for me to say goodbye to a few good reels , move em on to someone else to enjoy , to collect or just go fish em , pictures will do the talking on the condition of these great hardys

these are the start of a few to come

pm , email , or call me ,

first up , ''' THE USED ONE IS NOW SOLD '''' BOTH SOLD NOW

a couple hard to find , St Johns in the Hiduminium , one is used , and the other has never seen a line on it , both from my personal collection

for those who don't know about these rare St Johns , here is a write up about them ,

''''''In the late 40's, Hardy enhanced the Dural alloy to a new standard called
Hiduminium. These reels are typified by a very small capital "H" stamped either on
the back of the spool or on the frame, and they are rarer and even more corrosion
resistant than Durals. Where unscrupulous sellers can fool people with the
scratching of the small case "d" for Dural, they cannot fake the stamped capital
"H". ''''

i'd like to get $700 for the used one , ''' USED ONE IS NOW SOLD''''' it's done me good and i'v caught some great fish on it , still a heck of a reel and will last many many more years ,

the new mint one is still for sale '' SORRY GENTS , THE NEW ONE IS NOW SOLD
and i'd like to get $900 for the mint one thats never been used or lined , or make me a OFFER that you think is fair for such a nice reel

NOW '' SOLD pending funds ''
next up ,
this one will wet your lips , :smokin:

you don't see these come up often , and never in this condition , how's about a '' 4 inch '' hardy wide drum in the best check hardy ever made , the so famous 1912 check , and the heavy check at that , this reel has it all , strap over adjustable drag and with turks head , nice big fat white handle , round line guard , and as close to mint as you'll see these days ,

i'm going to ask $3000 or best offer , if you want the best steelhead / salmon reel hardy ever made , this is it

and if your looking for a bigger one in 1912 , i have a 4 1/4 and a 4 1/2 that is also as nice as this one and will be letting them go also

yes the Hiduminium St John is as nice as it gets in any that hardy made of all the St Johns , these pictures are nice of , yet it don't even come close to what they really like , until you have one in your hands it's hard to tell someone what they feel like , sort of feel like the old style chrome on a bumper , and these ones sound so good when a fish ripping line out

if you want some more good info and a full nice write up about them , send me a pm and i'll forward it to you ,

also thanks everyone for the kind words and messages ,

i'll try to put up a few more good reels tonight , say maybe a 4 ' BFP with very first line guard hardy made in the block leather case , i have 3 more 1912 check reels that i have to move along , all with line guards

feel free to call me 403-995-3677

see ya all in skeena country ,

you know them darn steelhead just got ahold of my soul :D
