Tried schlappen but didn't have good enough feather quality. Used dye black BEP counter-wound. Wings a little long but it set in sweetly. Could move the head a little forward also.

Thanks you for the comments. Rest assured Mike no Steelhead will bite my fly. They will look, and chuckle. The River and the fishing gods are punishing me for what I do not know. But I persist to spite them!

That is soo nice and super buggy. Love that top anterior view for sure, looks just like an insect coming atcha. Something chrome has got to eat that!
