Can anyone tell me what happened to Eastbranch Rod Co. and Erik Jobson.

Erik made me some very good Spey rods last year and the year before. Has another company taken over his business/production.

Please advise.

Thanks

Somewhat off-topic...

I had seen JP Ross advertised in the recent FFA; very nice looking rods You have to love anyone that names a rod series the "Beaver Meadow" ;)
Seriously, they look like very nice rods.

Hi all and tanks your suggestions.

As I mentioned I did a few good deals with Jobson, and though as Peter mentions, "time was not in our favour", Jobson made some very good blanks.
I never bought finished from him but only blanks that I tested thoroughly before mounting, so I have some really great rods, both singles and two-hands.

Just too bad if this craft has gone for good. I´ll keep looking for Erik to persuade him to keep"rolling-on" the black stuff.
And - if anyone over-there can help I would appreciate greatfully.
