Recently got a full Finn Raccoon pelt and am interested in cutting it into pieces and dying it. Any suggestions on where to get started?

I suggest always to cut pelt on spine and after cross cut .
By this way we have material in one colour but different structure .
from stiffer and with longer hairs on spine to softer on belly .

Dying is separate story , long one .

Thanks, any info would be great. I have used Veniard dyes on white Arctic Fox with good success but have not bleached, then dyed any sort of pelt.
