We are going to use this thread to gather donations with all proceeds headed to Knut to help with medical costs.

Please check around and if you have some gear you can spare to help another person out please consider donating to the cause.

They are donating a brand new Salmo Salar Specialist which is fitting as that is what Knut spends most of his time persuing.

Hello,

I started two-hand spey casting few months ago after I went to Spey-O-Rama at GGACC.
Needless to say I was very impressed with demonstrators including Syrstrads.
I would like to donate a single hand rod and two reels.
They are not new but only used several times at casting pond.

Fishing trip to Ireland 2005. (3-4 days)

For the one that has always fancied a trip to Ireland, to spend a few days in persuit of salmon/sea trout.
I`m fortunate to have rods on the famous rivers Moy, Slaney, Galway Weir, and Mourne. ( Dates and locations to be agreed to suit visit.)
Just arrive, be our guest, and leave the rest to Irish hospitality.

By the way, since I posted the information on Knut, a total of $3865 cash donations have been received from various GGACC members and individuals through the Spey Pages. It's been a tremendous response !

Dear Donna,
First off, you're definitely going to have to arm wrestle me to keep me from bidding on the trip to Ireland! Maybe we can talk them into splitting the trip so we can both go!

It's great to see the spey casting community coming together to support such wonderful brothers and in a common cause! I have a few other items that need new homes..

17' Daiwa Whiskerfly...in good condition with nylon rod sleeve...well traveled, older technology with lots of sentimental value...bought from Per Stadigh from Sweden and used in the Musto 2002 spey competition...

18' Burkeheimer...used in the Musto 2003 spey competition...1 of 1...Stout! has my name on it, but for a small price I'm sure Kerry would remove it and put new owners name on it..

15' Sage 8150..Good condition with original rod sack, and tube..

btw, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your flies...for 10 bucks to the cause, I'll tie up a dozen of my summerun favorites, they may not be upto to the quality of many of our more elite tiers, but have occasionally caught fish...actually make it 5 bucks that way you wont be disappointed! LOL! Thanks for all your help!
