I follow the thread listing section for new 'stuff,' added posts, etc., and it appears that if there hasn't been a post the whole thing appears to 'disappear' after about 48 hours.

Is it a 'setting' (I haven't changed a thing since day one here that I know of) in user CP? Ask as if you have something in classified (or anything else for that matter) the only way you'll find same is via the search function. Or look it up and do a 'bump.' I can easily see the why of a 'drop dead' time frame (huge number of posting here) but '48 hours' seems to be pretty quick on the trigger.

My imagination? Or just my .02 cents?

Good man Tyke, good man!

Posted this up at 0100 this morning so didn't have the chance to go into the invidual sections (tackle, classified, etc.) to see if a post would still appear under those headings. My next 'search.'

Fred,

Don't think I can help on this one. I never use that option as it just gives me posts in a time frame. For mod purposes, I make regular use of the "Mark forums read" button. After I have skimmed posts, I hit this and then when I come back, I can just review new posts since I was last on.
