Tied on Bartleet XL blind-eye #1/0. Cinnamon turkey wings with dark olive dub in front half of body and light olive in rear.

Nice work on the ribbing too . By using thin tinsel and wire , the extra wraps do not seem over barring at all .
You have accomplished a nice blend between flash and colour ... well done :)

Love the subtle peacock tail veil, haven't seen that one yet. I agree w the other posters, I dig the ribbing and the hackle is superb. That's some dank fishiness right there.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! The body hackle is brown heron and the collar is black schlappen.

Scott: Yes the heron feather wasn't very long so I had to start it slightly forward of the half-way point on the body.

Not much buoyancy in the stern and sparse material applications make this a perfect 'fast water' Dee. Love the colors also
