Greetings Gents
Was wondering if anybody had loaded backing on an LW 8twelve with a windcutter 6/7/8/ tip line and had a ballpark idea of the amount of backing the reel will hold? The idea of loading line first, then the backing, then unwinding it all and reloading it backing end first seems like a disaster waiting to happen (especially if the cat gets sight of it).
Thanks for any info.

p.s.-I plan to use 30lb. Micron.

I can't say for certain if there is any comparison in size between your reel and a CLW 8-12 quite nicely. but I can tell you a CLW8-12 will hold 150yds of SA 30# backing and a Carron 75'-10/11
