I use one on my 1309, yeah, borderline, but it should do. It may be a bit light for a 14ftr though. Are you looking at that one on ebay? I just picked up another one on there myself. Keep in mind there is really no drag, just a tensioner to prevent overrun. Make sure you have a video clip of the first fish you hit on it, mine was a riot.
Cool, thanks for the info. I really don't know what rod or reel I'm going to buy, but I've always liked that line of reels. Also, I didn't notice your signature before. More of us deadheads fly fish than you might think. Deadradio makes my browsing more enhoyable.
