I know its there somewhere, but can't find it with search. Where does one cut the XLT lines for use with tips 7/8, 8/9, 9/10.
Thanks

Ted,

I'm not sure if it is the same for every line size but I cut my 9/10 at 22' feet. I am pretty sure that is the guidance that was given some time back.

The 7/8 is cut at 22 feet but I think the 9/10 is cut at around 26 feet.

I have both those lines and they work well with tips cut at those locations.

This is what you want

XLT: 6/7 7/8 8/9 9/10 10/11
Forward Taper (feet) 87 91 90 92 99
Rear Taper (feet) 19 16 18 14 16
Total Head Length (feet) 108 107 108 106 115
Total Line length (feet) 120 130 130 140 140
Suggested placement of loops (feet from front of line) for sink tip use 18-20 20-22 24-25 27 28
Maximum suggested grain weight (15 foot sinktip) 160 170 200 260 300

well it looks a perfect table here till I post then the wheels come off

WillieG's data is the same as the data compiled by Way Yin (spey-bubba) and supplied by SA (in chart format).
