first off don't put your boots in your shop if you've been fishing the beach and digging clams...i'm still airing out the room...
Now besides that service announcement...i scored some more heron and decent turkey this weekend so did a couple quick ones...

So while not a traditional Dee....(it was going to be a spey but I started fiddling with the turkey!!) I think it's a buggy fly....second is just a goose wing, which made me find some better goose to order LOL...

Very fishy flees Paul !!
I'm not sure if it's just the photo, but the top flee (dee) looks to have the shank protruding a little far into the eye loop.
Be careful on this Paul, I've had a few tippets pop for this same issue.

If your careful and have a steady hand, use a pair of side cutters to give a little nip. Then take a flat file to get rid of the burr while folding back the eye loop. A dab of black nail polish and a coat of head cement or clear nail polish over the black and your good to go.

Paul.

Beauty tying dude! I dig them both!

That little dee type is pretty rad.

And WHERE did you get that turkey!

Cheers.
