You're right, I couldn't find diddly either. Suspect this may be the replacement reel for their 'old line' of LTD II's. A great reel for the money (the larger one will hold a full Carron Line and close to 200 yards of 30# backing:saeek: ) ... BUT ... the problem with them was a small geared wheel inside that kept busting (anti-reverse) pauls? inside. I've had to replace them several times. But Cortland sends you replacements for free. But, as the going price was (and apparently may still be direct from Cortland) FORTY BUCKS!! what's to complain? (Carry a spare in your bag.)

If you goggle Vision in Fly Fishing , you will come to the Vision web site . Go to reels and click on Koma Salmon reel . Same reel , comes in black and titianium colour . Excellent value .

Thanks Mike! That particular reel is a great fav with the fellows in the UK. Sounds like what Shamono (sp?) did with one of their reels (Venture series). Put it out under the G. Loomis brand name in the US.
