Columbia River Below Bonneville?

Has anyone ever spey-fished the mainstem Columbia? I know that a few adventurous souls throw 2-handers on the Hanford Reach in WA, but wonder about other areas (eg. below Bonneville). It seems to me that there are a few spots with flow/depth/accessibility that might be conducive to the two-hander. Although a bit of "needle in the haystack" in terms of locating fish, I think the experience would be well worth it. Any advice/wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Eric

i know of one potential spot that is a very long flat rocky area that were it on any other river would be a spot to die for... However by the time there are sufficient numbers of summer runs below bonneville the columbia is typically running at 70 degrees or more which is too warm to ethically target steelhead..
