OK. I bought some of Aaron Ostoj's fine wax. It has made a world of difference to my flytying. However, while rubbing a pea shaped ball of the stuff in preparation of tying, the wax appears to have broken down and now my fingers are covered in the stuff.
Does anyone have any good ideas as to the best way to remove the wax? I've tried soap, alchohol (not the good stuff) hot and cold water. I'm typing this message with 2 fingers as the others would stick to the keyboard - Oh the embarrassment!
Glad you were able to get the answer you needed. Also, if you need to clean your fingers often, the art supply stores sell "odorless" turpentine. Much more family friendly than the regular stuff.
