Im interested in opinions from any users of these rods as per line recommendations and siutability for single hand sea trout fishing in uk and occaisional atlantic salmon fishing for summer run fish up to 10lb thanks steve
Stephen - This is an interesting hybrid fly rod. It would be well suited for single handed trout fishing and plenty of power to land 10 lb fish. It feels like the majority of 9' 8 wt. bonefish rods with an additional 8" and a small fighting butt. I think a long belly (S. A. Steelhead taper) 8 wt. line would be a good fit. I have to add that the Spey Tracker 12' 2" is one of the best small "trout sized" spey rods I have used and would fit the bill for both trout and smaller salmon - simply fantastic! Lawrence
