For big, strong click-and-pawl reels, look to the J. W. Young 1535 (4 1/2") and 1540 (same diameter, wider spool). Young is out of business, but these turn up on eBay occasionally. They don't have the finish or cachet of the Bougle, but they're rather nicely finished, hell-for-stout reels with double pawl drag to match. The 1540 is my standard heavy-duty reel.
If you can use this, will you promise to use capitals and punctuation occasionally, in exchange? :tsk_tsk:
