I've tried #8-9 13' rod - it doesn't appear to be heavy because of perfect balance. But its action is very specific. I've never seen anything like this between ANY american serial doublehanders, nearest rods to Clan are Hardy Ultralite and Gem, but they looks heavier and harder.
